Craft-a-blog

Attempting to get in touch with my inner Ms. Stewart, you get to partake of my victories and my frustrations as I endeavor to become one of "them".

I'm just a girl, a mom, a wife, a friend, a daughter, a sister, and an aunt. But I need & want to be more than that. I am desperately seeking the Lord, always desiring more of Him, to live in me, to work through me.

Her Room.

Blogger: Craft-a-blog - Create Post

I have been very quiet in my craftiness, for quite a long time. However, the past few months, I've been itching to do. Create. Beautify. And I decided to start in my daughters' bedroom.

Never before have I ever attempted something so huge. I decided to do a Tinkerbell bedroom, as she adores that feisty little pixie.

It's not done, yet. But I hope to finish it today (...wishful thinking, most likely, as it's almost noon, and I still haven't cleaned my kitchen from breakfast! lol).

Without further ado...

Here is a dress I made for Mercy.

Some Digiscrap Layouts.

OKay, so while I am in the process of getting my sewing and craft center in order...I thought I'd throw a few things out for you to view.

I will have to credit them all later, as I have to look up each kit they were done by.

This first one is of our daughter, Mercy. I love this picture of her.

Thus began my travels through craftland.

This will be my first post of, what I can only hope will be, many. I like to craft. Sew, scrapbooking, arts, basically...I like to dream. Because honestly, with 3 small children under toe, how often does one truly get to craft? Especially when one does not have a designated craft area.

However, said person now has a craft table/sewing desk. It folds up conveniently, resulting in a polished & organized hutch-like look. And I'm loving it. The big door swings out, and has two long shelf-like storage containers, where a crafter can put crafty items.

So this wanna-be Ms. Stewart (***in talent only***) will hopefully learn to utilize and organize her time efficiently, so that Ms. WBS (wanna-be-Stewart from hence forth) will be able to "get 'her motor running...." and sit down at the previously mentioned craft desk.

So, this particular blog will be full of updates, futur projects, and pictures of completed projects.

With that, I bid you adieu.
